as far as i know, the residence halls- mesa court and middle earth- are for freshman only. Is that incorrect?

it says
Residence Halls (Freshmen & Transfer students)
Transfer students also have the option of living in a transfer hall in the residence halls.

Arroyo Vista (Transfer students)

oh ok, interesting. Well if you go residence hall route you're going to be with all freshman and very little transfer students. If you go Arroyo vista you will be with all the frats (minus sigma pi b/c they were kicked out years ago) and sororities

which decision would be better transferhall in the residence or arroyo vista?
or am i screwed either way
btw r u goin to UCI right now?

I honestly don't know what would be better. I don't know much about arroyo vista other than thats where all the frat houses are. I graduated last fall. I don't know if u're screwed, but I would guess that the residence halls would have more emphasis on making new friend b/c they are all first year students, whereas in Arroyo Vista you have a lot of people who have been there for 2,3,4 years who have friends already. If u're in a residence hall, you have no problem making friends with your suitemats and other dorm mates.
