I was drafting my essay and I have a doubt. I have two broad reasons for transfer, one educational limitation and one very emotional reason (about not fitting in and an assault incident). Which one of these should I bring up first in the essay and then develop to the second one?
Which one do you guys think is a more important reason.
I would personally start with the emotional reason, as it will give your essay a more personal feel and hopefully capture the attention of whoever is reading it… What colleges are you applying to, if you don’t mind me asking?

Educational first (or at least, educational more important). They want to know why you have to go to their school in particular. If your reason for transferring could be solved at any number of schools, why should they give you one of their very few transfer spots?
I would recommend the emotional first. It’ll be a better starting point and then you’ll be able to delve into why your current school isn’t the best for you. Feel free to PM the essay to me!
