<p>I know, right?! If no one really has received mail yet this week, it’s all sure to come next week! And it’s my finals week! And Barnard is my first choice! And only hope for so many reasons! Haha. K trying to calm down. But I’ve gone nuts already since OMG? We’ve started couting down since like, Monday last week to no avail? And tried counting down this week too, to no avail? Hahaha. Does everyone here have Barnard as their number one? <3</p>

<p>Barnard is the only school ive applied for transfer admission to! so im channeling all my hope into it lol</p>
<p>The funny thing concerning my major is that if I stay at my current school (Mt. Holyoke College) I honestly am at a loss for what my major is lol maybe philosophy? ehh id rather not </p>
<p>BUT if i get into Barnard, I know exactlyy what my major is going to be: the Economics and Social History special major! Thats part of the reason why im like I NEED TO GO TO BARNARD haha i must sound crazy right now XD</p>

yeah, I think we’re all going a tad bit insane…but it’s not our fault! We’ve been waiting for weeks now.</p>
<p>I wonder if it’s okay to ask for people’s stats now but then again! It’ll make more sense when we post them post-decisions… And stats are not everything when it comes to Barnard. Barnard is like every woman’s loving mother. <3 So do not listen to people when they tell you you can’t make it because your GPA is low, you don’t have godawesome ECs, etc. etc. Because Barnard is one of the rare ones that literally look at everything you can offer.</p>

<p>It looks like I am going to be an English major, maybe with a music minor or a double major. I’m still feeling it out. I think that we should wait until we get responses to post stats I feel a little bit silly about them right now because, just like thewoman said, who knows exactly what they’re looking for?</p>

<p>Just got rejected from Vassar. It doesn’t sting that bad, though. It wasn’t really my top choice (Barnard kind of is for me) and they only had 10 spots for 275 applicants. It’s like they didn’t want to admit anyone but they couldn’t do that because they took all those app fees. SO they let in less than 4%. </p>
<p>I gotta tell you, it makes me want my f***ing money back.</p>
<p>Oh, and I applied to Barnard as theatre/psy.</p>

<p>Barnard takes around 80 out of 300 applicants for transfer every year I think… Awww Vassar’s pretty tough though! Hope you get into Barnard! Wow so many theatre majors!!</p>

<p>They took 134 last year! 80 enrolled. Yeah for halfway decent odds :-)</p>

<p>Ohh that’s 130+ out of almost 500 applicants though. That’s basically the same percentage as the 80/300 general figures that they provide…</p>
