A lot of people have already got accepted, but I haven't heard anything from UT at all.
I didn't expect myself to be distracted with anxiety!!! I am so tired of checking my status....

If you applied as an international student, don’t worry … no decisions have been made yet … they’ll be made by the end of this month (anytime between now and May, 1?)

Exactly.
I remember that some international students were accepted around April 24th last year. I just wanted to compare my status with the other applicants who are still waiting…

by the way, there are certain number of seats available for international students … you’re competing against other international students for these seats, not the entire pool (logically!) …

as an evidence of this claim, your application goes directly to the office of international and graduate studies, and THEY make the decision …

I cannot find any mentioning about my MICRO on My Status. How about yours?
By the way, do you think we really have to wait until we send the final official transcript? That’s gonna be the end of May!

@ProfMe

That’s great information. I did not know that… But I am wondering where my application goes.

Before I applied, I went to the admission branch office. From what I was told by an admission counselor, I had to use a “U.S. Transfer” application because I am a permanent resident card holder. I just came to this country a few years ago.

@fanfan90

Do you have any information about permanent resident applicant?

in my last comment, I meant if you are an international student and used the international students application …

anyway, you guys should be glad … your chances are MUCH better since you applied as US transfers … you can check out the percentage of international students to realize what I mean

Hey guys, I’m an international student though not a permanent resident.
here’s my stats.
GPA 3.81
48 credits complete
I took macro and micro. one calculus course (unique one for my school), I should have taken Cal I and Cal II though it’s too late to say.
from UW-system
1st McCombs
2nd Undergraduate studies

my heart’s racing checking stats.
I hope we have good news in the late of this month.

On MyStatus, it doesn’t show anything new…
I think the admission office is so ready to accept you because of your perfect GPA.

@Mehrenz

I don’t think they make a decision for undergraduate studies as a first result. But last year, one guy could not get into first & second choice, and then, he received a phone call from admission office and was offered to get into a different major.

You do not necessarily need cal 2 completed to be admitted. My admissions counselor told me it depends on the applicant pool whether or not they want a cal 2 grade to make a decision. He said that if april comes and goes without a decision then to assume they want the cal 2 grade. It is frustrating, I know, to not have a definite answer regarding even when you might be able to expect a decision.
