<p>My letter required a response by May 15th.</p>
<p>Got rejected. 3.7 college GPA and 3.4 HS GPA. Oh well, now just gotta choose between Vandy and Emory :)</p>

Although I’m really confused, because back in mid-April I thought I had received a rejection, literally an hour after another email from them saying they’d gotten my high school transcript and were finally forwarding my application to the admissions committee.
Looking at it now, it’s listed as coming from <em>me</em>, which makes me wonder whether gmail is messing up, or someone got to my open email somehow. Or I’m crazy :s</p>

<p>I received my acceptance last night. Seems as if I just barely got in, then, if so many people received their letters weeks and weeks ago. </p>
<p>My guess is that they are doing it bit by bit to make sure they keep their numbers great, and sending out more letters each time someone decides not to transfer in. I more than likely will not be transferring after all (gotta see what they did for financial aid when it comes in the mail) but I hope that I am not in the last batch for the sake of people still trying to get in.</p>
<p>oh, and if anyone questions, I got my application in on 3/16, which was after priority deadline (a day after, if I remember correctly, but still) which is probably why my acceptance came so late. </p>
<p>man, this is a rough decision.</p>
