<p>@blik71 Thank you for your confirmation!! My major is engineering, which is a lep program of umd. But my advisor at my school told me that the admission process for umd and lep are seperated, so it is entirely possible that one can get accepted to umd but rejected to the lep major. By the way, how would umd know that you are getting your associate? I know that I indicated in my application that I am expecting the As degree in May, but is that enough? Do I also need to indicate that in my essay? </p>

<p>If you said in the app that you’ll have an associates then they’ll know. Now if you wanna cleverly work it in there , by all means lol. And don’t worry l’ve been paranoid about being admitted this whole time, but your applying regular decision?</p>

<p>@ncas379, according to a last year’s post, it doesn’t mean anything. But all the people last year that have the housing form, to the best of my knowledge, got accepted. Of course don’t take my word for it, because I didn’t read every posts. </p>

<p>I really hope we hear tomorrow! You guys have great stats. My gpa is a bit lower; I have a 3.2 from Montgomery College. I’m not sure if I really have a shot or not. I’m also in the Maryland Transfer Advantage Program but I won’t complete it’s requirements until the end of the semester. I’ll also complete my associates this semester.
My application status still says “completed”, but I see the housing and dining form on my portal. </p>
<p>I think it may be less competitive this year because last years threads all started way earlier than this years lol. I wish my CC had that program, cause thats guaranteed admission if you finish the req’s. Also should I fill it out now cause if I go to UMD then I’m living either on campus or an apartment near by.</p>

<p>I went to a meeting at UMD and they said as long as you meet all the requirements, you should be admitted into the school if accepted into the University @blik71 </p>
<p>I applied as a Sophomore for Fall 2014, but not sure what my chances are.</p>
<p>I am currently a student at an Florida International University and have a 3.2 GPA (14 credits). If my GPA continues this semester, I should end with roughly a 3.74 (15 credits). This would put my GPA at about a 3.5 at the end of Fall and Spring with 29 credits completed.</p>
