The decision letter came to my email. As for financial aid, it says my package will come within 3 weeks after acceptance.
@nj1818 thats what I was thinking too. How could that be fair to people, (like me) who applied on Februrary 12th. I am going to give them a call and figure this out. I’ll let you know.
@tripletmom33 keep checking the Admissions Acceptance Form link on myslice. If you can accept, it means your D has been accepted! I found out a few days before I got notified via email by checking that everyday. Also, I got my fin aid within a week, and credit evaluation within 2 weeks. I actually appealed my fin aid and got offered $7400 more in grants within a day. Can you say GO CUSE?! I look forward to seeing you guys on campus

Don’t panic. Nj1818 is right. They’ve run out of room for on campus housing for transfer students. I’m told by the off campus housing office that there’s lots of available apartments as well as other students living off campus who are looking for someone to fill a vacant bedroom. Financial aid said there are landlords who will wait for the FA to kick in to get paid. There’s some form that FA fills out letting the landlord know that funds are coming. All that being said, I’m not thrilled with my son living off campus. Makes me uncomfortable even though he’ll be fine. Just another step in the endless adventure that is going to Cuse.
See offcampus.syr.edu as well as transfer student Facebook page. At least that’s what I was told.
Does anyone know when transfer credit evaluations come out for accepted students? I’m trying to figure out which classes i’ll get credit for at SU
