Just curious if any transfer applicants for Fall 2016 have heard back. Admissions has had my application and other forms for over a month now. Stevens is the only school that I haven’t heard back from and is of course my top choice. Thanks!
I have been looking everywhere for a Stevens transfer thread. I also applied in February and still haven’t heard back. They say decisions will be released in mid-may but thats so late and I just want to know! what program did you apply too?

Applied late January. CS. Still waiting.
@Dominick624 you mind sharing stats? i don’t know how competitive stevens is, making me anxious
I’d say it’s not easy to get into, at least from what I’ve heard.
I got wait listed senior year with a GPA of 3.7/4.5 unweighted, my school did not weigh GPAs… 1710 SAT superscore 27 ACT Superscore (they superscore the ACT at Stevens). Also did an okay amount of extracurricular activities.
My first college semester wasn’t great. 2.83GPA but it was because I didn’t really like my major, which I explained in my essay, additional comments and have been speaking with the admissions counselor. My mid term report was all A’s for the second semester so that would bring me up to a 3.3+ I believe.
Not too sure of my chances.
@Dominick624 I’m currently a sophomore at community college my College GPA is like 3.65 (I had a positive fluctuation throughout my semesters: 1st semester: 3.3, 2nd semester: 3.6, 3rd semester: 4.0) and my midterm report is a 4.0
High School GPA: 3.0 I think…(h.s was a bad time for me lol)
im applying to the marketing program in the business school and im really nervous, like this wait is killlinggg meee. do you have any idea when we would start to hear back?
Anyone hear back yet?
@Dominick624 Nope. every school has gotten back to me except Stevens and i’m getting really frustrated
Was accepted June 3rd. Today I received $13,500 in Scholarship money and $5.500 in loans. I plan on asking for even more money since my mom recently left her job.
I had a 3.9 GPA when I applied during the fall. I somehow got the high school scholarship even though my high school GPA was like 3.3 and 1840 SAT. Now I have to decide between expensive Stevens and cheap NJIT.
Accepted on June 2, received generous financial aid based on grades and parents’ income. I plan on depositing this week. Excited to be in Hoboken in the fall, Stevens is really my dream school!
There’s a reason why Stevens is “expensive” and NJIT is “cheap”. Ask some people in engineering, science, and technology business from which one they would prefer to hire graduates.
Anyone else still not hear back yet? I’ve confirmed that they have everything and I applied in mid January, with all documents sent in March.
