Is there any update yet?
They might be sending out transfer admission decision today, as per their previous trends.
Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that a friend of mine who is a transfer applicant received her admission packet today. Be sure to check your mail! The letters look the same as RD freshmen applicants, big white envelopes! 
Awesome! I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday then… do you happen to know what her stats were? HS GPA, College GPA, etc…
WAITLIST. I told my kid to send Nadine Saint a letter saying he definitely wants to be put on the waiting list, and to get a mid-year report from his current profs showing he is still running a 3.8 GPA. There is still hope… I hope!
@HooDad1 Oh gosh, I’m so sorry!!! Yes, definitely tell him to do that and to continue to show interest. Since he is coming from a local CC and has a great GPA, I am really surprised. How were his essays, recs, and ECs?
I think his essays and recs were great. He hasn’t been doing a lot of academic or social service related ECs…He divides his time between being a really diligent student and an independent yard work contractor for a bunch of people to pay for his personal expenses and car. He described it in the essay… So…we’ll send them the mid-term report and see what happens. Ultimately we want him where the Lord wants him…but Richmond seems right for a lot of reasons. Do you think it would be of value for him to go by admissions personally and talk to anyone? Or get another recommendation?? I guess there are SOME people that get in from the waiting list : )
Accepted! I haven’t heard about the financial aid though. Hopefully they’ll help me out with good aid. I think showing interest really helped me out.

@jalopnick21 those are very similar to mine… also we both go to VCU… my high school GPA was much lower though… hope they saw that I got my act together junior and senior year. Cary and Belvidere’s mail room couldn’t be any worse…

My daughter got her decision. We live in Virginia. No financial aid info enclosed. When I called they said those weren’t finished at the time decisions were mailed. He said we should get that by the end of the week by mail. She can’t log in to her account online and nobody can figure out why.
