I’m applying for fall 2020 transfer as a current freshmen, incoming sophomore, for the chemistry program. I am also in-state, but transfering from an out-of-state school. I had planned to submit my application for priority decision, February 1st, but just saw I had an email from January 30th that I had to send my ACT/SAT score so now my application is incomplete. I was wondering if anyone knew how much it would impact my application by applying regular decision now instead of priority, since I have to wait for my scores to be sent.
I also will have 58 transferrable credits by the end of this semester (I’m taking 18 as of now, so 48 for review) and didn’t think I even needed to send my scores- which is why I didn’t in the first place. And my application was complete until the day before the deadline.
Hey, other student applying for transfer here. From what I can tell, I doubt it’d matter for Chem. The pure science programs aren’t really that competitive so I don’t think that missing priority will change the results.
I think your application decision will just be released slightly later than those who made the priority deadline. The decisions are rolling, so it’s not comparable to early action/regular decision deadlines like we had to deal with in high school.
I just checked my portal and it says I got accepted

I submitted my application on 1/15 but it took until 1/27 for my application to be marked as complete. Can’t wait for my decision!
I got in! Was not expecting to see a reply today.
I got deferred until they could see my spring grades. Does anyone know if that is a good sign or if I am likely to get rejected?
