Transfer Financial Aid

After transfering to a top college after a year or two, is the financial aid as plentiful for transfers as they are for incoming freshman?

simply put.. no it is not.

the best thing would be to apply and see what your aid package is like if you get accepted. If they expect you to take out a 43,000 dollar loan, you can tell them to shove it.

forgiven, did u get your package? lol

TRANSFER AID SUX, I HAVE BEEN LOOKING @ SO MANY SCHOOLS, NO SCHOOLS OFFER MERIT SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TRANSFERS, UNLESS YOUR A STATE RESIDENT OF THE SCHOOL YOUR APPLYING TO! SO GOOD LUCK IF YOU ARE LOOKING @ PRIVATE SCHOOLS! cuz they will make you take out alot of loans!!

not yet.. but i'm not expecting much at all...

i think the ivy leagues are better with aid, so i'm considering applying to a few or some top private schools that do offer a lot of aid. i don't know.. i wish college was free.. haha.

forgiven, so your not going to accept michigans offer and instead your going to wait to apply for more schools?

oh, i'm definitely going to be at michigan this fall. i'm willing to pay for it. i'm hoping for at least 20k in grants, but i highly doubt it.
