Hey guys, i have applied for aerospace engineering for fall 2011. I have quite a low GPA about 3.2, i wonder if i can go in? what do you guys think? If i cant go in, will they still accept me in UT but as undeclared major? or Just totally decline me from UT? Help please! Thanks!

I’m not gonna lie… that’s really low for aerospace engineering, let alone UT. Most people are accepted with a 3.5 and above.

If i dun get into both of my choice, would they put me as undeclared studies and still accept me to UT?

It’s low for UT overall… can anyone else chance him??

No. You only get two trials as a transfer student, and that’s for the majors that you put down. Only high school students get that 3rd undeclared studies option. The average GPA of transfer applicants last year was a 3.3 and the average accepted GPA was a 3.61.

Hmm, sad…

My friend has submitted his application from applytexas with his two choice of majors(Mc combs, engineering) Can he somehow change his choice of major before he is reviewed by the admission center? You can’t right?

Once it begins being reviewed, you can’t change your major. But it might not have started yet, and it never hurts to call!
McCombs and Engineering as a transfer?! Did he do required courses for both?! What’s his GPA? There isn’t much of a safety with those two…
