which of the following are "transfer friendly"?
...by transfer friendly i mean:
1. guaranteed housing
2. not IMPOSSIBLE to get into
3. overall encouraging attitude toward transfers (does not discriminate against those that need financial aid, does not descriminate against those that are from out of state [i am from new york])

-University of Pennsylvania
-Columbia University
-Dartmouth College
-Johns Hopkins University
-Brown University
-Carnegie Mellon University

Tulane is pretty transfer-friendly. GW too.

Brown is need aware for transfers :(

"All transfer applicants will be admitted to Brown on a need-aware basis starting for the 2005-2006 academic year. Need aware means that financial need will be taken into account in making the admission decision. "

Dartmouth is apparently the most transfer friendly. Columbia is supposed to be the least. JHU is also very transfer friendly, as is Brown.

cornell CALS is very transfer friendly.

But Cornell CALS is apparently skewed by Guarenteed Transfers.
