Hi everyone! Im currently a new transfer from community college to UCSD. Im also an international student as well. My major is Econ..This year, holding a 3.4x GPA..I got rejected by UCLA/UC Berkeley..I know its my bad since my poor GPA :( I was really sad since they were both my dream schools..and I felt worse that I was wasting my parents' money...I would like to try my best and keep it up to grasp every chance of getting into both schools..so Im going to apply one more time this coming fall! However, I havent heard many case of transferring from a UC to another UC...what should I do at this step? any tips for me?
Thank you so much!

A 3.4 won’t get you into either of those schools for Econ. Also, fall quarter grades will count on your application…so if you really are going to apply, you should get a 4.0. IMO, you should save your $70 and just go to UCSD for the next two years. You really have no legitimate reason to transfer again, or the GPA to do so. UCSD is a top tier UC and a good school for Econ. Going to UCLA or Berkeley won’t make a ton of difference.

Or you can withdraw from UCSD asap and go back to community college if you think it’s such a waste of money. Seriously, do you know how many people would like to be at UCSD right now?
