Is it possible to transfer from California community college to university of Illinois urbana champaign's computer engineering department? Are there any stats available out there? I'm planning to join a CC near silicon valley for internships and work experience. I don't want to go to a community colleges in Illinois because they are expensive for international student like me. I want to transfer out to a top computer engineering university after 2 years of CC.
Grades won't be a problem for me. I want to know if UIUC accepts credits from california community college (CCC)

It’s possible. Most credits should be accepted, but there will likely be more hangups and potentially you will need to work with transfer/admissions staff to ensure as many units as possible are correctly articulated between schools.

But UIUC is going to be expensive, too. $35,000 per year for international students.

I can manage 35K a year for 2 years. That’s why I joining CC for first 2 years. :)

http://www.transfer.org has some information for transfer credit from some California CCs to UIUC, but it appears to be very incomplete, compared to [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) for California CCs to UCs and CSUs.

UIUC out-of-state / international price is more like $48,000 per year for engineering majors.

You may want to consider lower cost schools like Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Cal Poly SLO, Stony Brook, and NCSU if that price is bothersome.

Why not try transferring to UC Berkeley?

I really want to go to UC Berkeley. Its really expensive. I have good chances of transferring into UCB. I would probably get loans.

If your have good GPA then its Possible to shift to university of Illinois , and if you have good marks then you also have chance to Get Scholarship. One of friend told me about he is senior then and i usually get [assignment writing](<a href=“assignmentexpert.co.uk domain name is for sale. Inquire now.”>http://www.assignmentexpert.co.uk/) help from him.

As an int’l, your cost at UIUC will be higher. You’ll need to show that you have full funding for the full COA (not just basic costs), plus health insurance. Those costs are more than $38k per year.

You might want to look at the Cal Polys.

Thanks for the feedback I committed to cal poly slo and I will be paying 35k a year. Better be worth it.
