Transfer from CC to Arizona

<p>Hello</p>

<p>I'm just wondering if anyone has transferred from a CC to University of Arizona?
And do you guys think that they will accept credits from an Out-of-State CC?</p>

<p>I'm going for Laser/Electro - Optics at Indian Hills CC, and I'm getting my A.S in May of 2010.</p>

<p>I've been looking at University of Arizona and their Optical Engineering program. The classes i'm taking at Indian Hills are almost exactly the same as the ones at Arizona, most of the classes are even named the same thing.</p>

<p>I'm a 4.0 student, Phi Theta Kappa etc. </p>

<p>What do you think my chances are of getting admitted?</p>

<p>I went to Secondary School in Sweden (Last year of H.S and Fresh+Soph of College) and had a GPA equivalent to 3.7, would these grades play any role at all in the transfer process, considering that I’ve got a transcript from an american CC?</p>
