I have gone to two different cc's. At the first one I went to, I have a very good GPA and have many credits there. At the second one, I took 4 classes and failed three of them. I'm a good student. There were just some circumstances in my life while I was at the new college that I won't get in to. I'm transferring back to the first cc that I went to where I'm planning to retake these classes.

I really want to apply to cal state by next year but I'm afraid I won't get in with these 3 failed classes. A friend of mine told me to send only the transcripts of my first college. Is that a good idea? I'm afraid that they'd find out if I did something like that.

I was under the impression you could only replace old grades by retaking them at the original school you took the class at. Even if it doesn't replace the grade it may be to your benefit to take them anyways so I would speak to a counselor about where you really stand.

You have to send all the transcripts. First, because it's the honest thing to do. Second, because you're in the system and would definitely get caught which is grounds to be expelled!!

I think if you retake the classes you won't have a problem getting into some CSUs.

slap your friend, or something.
even if you were accepted, and then attended the school, if they found out years later, they'd revoke your diploma.
