transfer from CC?

I have a few questions regarding the transfer admissions at FSU. First and foremost, I graduated from HS this past June, but I won't be beginning college until Fall 2011 (want to do a bunch of traveling and doing it before college makes the most sense - so I decided to take some time off). Anyway, I was leaning towards attending a Florida CC for two years and then trying to transfer into FSU with a major in Real Estate. Onto my questions....

What kind of GPA is necessary to transfer? I know there aren't any guarantees, but basically what is the lowest GPA that would be accepted, and what GPA would I need to have a good shot at being accepted (like 3.75? even higher?)?

The Real Estate major is a limited access program. How "limited" is it exactly? Is there a rough estimate of number of transfers they accept per year?

And yeah I know it's a little early to be worrying about this if I'll be taking the next 2 years off, but I'd like to plan ahead and am trying to zero in on a small list of colleges that have majors I'm interested in and would be relatively easy to transfer into. Thanks and I appreciate any help!

If you have your AA I believe your GPA has to be atleast a 2.0. If you have don’t have an AA, I believe it’s atleast a 3.0. This is the same thing for every state univ. So this applies to UF also. There are no guarantees, however. So if you have a 2.0, you are not automatically in. I couldn’t tell you the rough GPA idea. I’ve called and asked, and they can’t give you an idea for transfers.
