Transfer: From CCC to UC

Hello, I am a student in a CCC ( Californian Community College), and my goal is to transfer to a UC in 2019 Fall. I have finished one semester in CCC, while there are still four semesters and one summer to go( I am taking some summer class right now).
I have few questions hope someone can help me with it, thank you.

  1. I was dropped from a college outside California before I attended to CCC, will it influence my transfer?
  2. I took some college level course but I did not earn any credits ( all Fs), will it influence my total transfer units since those UC university ask students to take no more than 70 or 80 units.
  3. I have a cumulative GPA of 3.625 right now, how far should I go for UC Davis and UC Berkeley in environmental related major?

Thank you

re (1) and (2) you are required to report all schools attended and send a transcript. There is a national student database so “forgetting” will be caught and you will be rescinded. They will look at your overall gpa but pay more attention to the recent trend. Only grades of C or better give transfer credit so the classes you failed will not add to the units you have.

isit the xfer center at your CC, they are there to help you with questions like this.
