Transfer from community college.

I'm just trying to find someone to bounce ideas off of. I'm twenty two and I've been going ot my CC for four years about. I have about 10g in loans which I'm slowly paying back (20$ once week or 50$ another). I'm torn between majors and the only school that offers either of my majors is UMass. I want to become a wildlife biologist or a forester. I'm worried that i'm getting too old to even attend school anymore and that I should out looking for a career. I feel that I wasted my first years at CC since I had no idea what I wanted to do. I'm also afraid of the debt that i'll amass. I'm not sure if I should transfer to Umass or go to wsu and live at home. The price is cheaper for wsu but they don't offer wildlife biology just biology. Does anyone know if a biology degree would be enough? I want to pursue a masters but once again loans and debt are very scary.

First, which WSU are you talking about, in what state are you a resident?

worcester state. Massachusetts.

If you’re a resident of MA and UMass has your major, try to transfer into Umass and into the major you want.

Umass is where I want to go. I plan on going there for my MS either way, I’m just conflicted on going to either umass or wsu for my bs degree. I have a 3.1 so I don’;t think being accepted would be a problem for either school. I have almost all the general requirements finished from my cc too. I guess im just wondering if i go to wsu i can still live at home and work my normal jobs, if i go to umass i might be able to live for free (fire department program) but thats not a certain thing. I’m not sure if wsu bio program would be good enough for me to try and get a natural resource job if i don’t end up getting into grad school.
