Transfer From Community College

Hi, this is my first post here and it seems like a great site.

I am currently a high school senior attending my local community college full time. I had planned to only do one year there, but I ended up getting free tuition so I decided to stay. I am going to take some courses this summer and finish after the fall semester. My plan had been to transfer to Temple University, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other options I might have.

I got into the college's honors program last semester and 5 of the classes I have taken were honors level. My GPA right now is 3.91 and will probably either go higher or stay the same. I am a member of that Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

Do I have a chance of transferring to a school that might be better than Temple and getting significant merit-based scholarships? The biggest problem I have run into is many schools don't accept transfer students at the start of the spring semester. Does anyone know of good schools that do?

A lot of the Public State schools do...
