Transfer from CSU to another CSU or out-of-state college

<p>Hi, I currently go to SFSU/2nd semester and already decided I want to transfer out to SDSU, Cal State Long Beach, or FSU for purely academic reasons. As of right now I have a 3.5 gpa, but have been taking math remedial classes that don't transfer out as credits. So I plan to take community college this summer. Is that a good idea?</p>

<p>Do you think I have a chance of getting out of here. I feel like I'm trapped in this school and it sucks.</p>

<p>(Please don't say drop out and go to a CC...It's already difficult for people to even get out of a CC in 3 years...)</p>

<p>As long as you keep your GPA where it is, you do have a chance to transfer to another CSU as long as it’s not significantly impacted.
Remember, however, that you will be submitting your application in Oct/Nov and will not hear back before February, so be sure to keep on track with your GE’s.</p>
