Transfer from CSU to CC to UC?

Hi there, so I am an International undergrad freshman (started my classes on spring 2017) going to California State University, Sacramento. So, as you might’ve guessed, I study in a CSU but I would like to get into a UC. I’ve got my eyes on UCLA. So, I decided to transfer to a CC and then the UC cuz after all my research work on transferring I realized that the chances of transferring from a CSU to UC is very slim.
Also, in the site it was stated that a transfer would need 60 semester units to transfer + be a junior. What does that mean? Does that mean I have to complete 3 years in CC or do I just have to complete 60+ units to be considered a junior.
I am very determined to complete 60 units before fall 2018
Would one of you take a risk of going to CC just to transfer to a UC after traveling to a whole a new country?
Also should I talk about this decision to my CSU advisor or is it just too rude to talk about stuff like this?
Thank you so very much for taking out the time to help me out. I know I am all over the place.

@Ash_362

Well, you would need to have 60+ transferable semester units and: 2 English compositions, 1 math, and 4 of any of the 2 of the following: social and behavioral sciences, arts and humanities, biological and physical sciences.

Your first step would be going to assist.org, selecting UCLA and a CC you are planning to attend and getting a list of UC transferable classes. If you have already taken any of those classes at CSU you may be able to transfer them to your CC.
Also, depending on your major, there might be some major preparation required.

As far as I heard, transferring from CCC to UC is definitely easier than transfer to UC from CSU, but I am not sure if international student status affects anything. You may want to check with your CC advisor.

Yeah, I guess I’ll just talk to my CSU advisor about it.
Thank you so much for yor kind reply.
