Transfer from CSU to CSU in senior year?

Hello all!

I was talking to my mom about attending CSUN this school year, and she asked me if I was going to transfer to CSUCI after this school year. I don't have any plans to transfer at all, but I was wondering if a senior in college would be able to do that? I'm assuming that by the end of Fall 2013 I'd have around 89 credits.

Thanks guys!

Most schools have the Residency requirement - min credit hours must be taken in the school. See [Graduation FAQs > Records and Registration > CSU Channel Islands](Graduation FAQs - Registrar’s Office - CSU Channel Islands)

@4kidsdad ah, ok I understand. So if I DO decide to transfer (don’t have any plans to transfer though), it would take longer for me to graduate, and basically it would be wasteful to go to CSUCI after I go to CSUN this year, correct?

You should contact CSUCI. I don’t think transfer to CSUCI in 4th year is automatic.
