Transfer from CSU to CSU in senior year?

<p>Hello all!</p>

<p>I was talking to my mom about attending CSUN this school year, and she asked me if I was going to transfer to CSUCI after this school year. I don't have any plans to transfer at all, but I was wondering if a senior in college would be able to do that? I'm assuming that by the end of Fall 2013 I'd have around 89 credits. </p>

<p>Most schools have the Residency requirement - min credit hours must be taken in the school. Earn a minimum of 30 units in residence</p>

<p>At least 30 of the total units must be taken at CSU Channel Islands. Credit earned through Open University and Extension is not considered in residence. At least 24 of these 30 units must be upper division coursework, and 12 of the 30 units must be in the major. At least 9 units of upper division interdisciplinary General Education (UDIGE) courses (numbered in the 330-349 or 430-449 ranges) of the required 48 General Education units must be completed in residence at CSU Channel Islands.

<p>@4kidsdad ah, ok I understand. So if I DO decide to transfer (don’t have any plans to transfer though), it would take longer for me to graduate, and basically it would be wasteful to go to CSUCI after I go to CSUN this year, correct?</p>

<p>You should contact CSUCI. I don’t think transfer to CSUCI in 4th year is automatic.</p>
