Transfer from CSUN to another CSU?

Hey there, college transfer enthusiasts...

So, I just began my first day at CSUN after finally transferring from a local community college. My very last choice was CSUN, but after getting rejected from UCLA even with Honors certification for Fall 2010 and not really liking any of the other UCs, I chose CSUN because even though it's pretty low on the "prestige" scale, they offer a creative writing emphasis in an English major, so I guess that was good enough for me.

But here's the thing: I'm pretty sure I already hate it even after just 1 day. It feels even more community college-esque than my community college. Maybe that has to do with me living closer to CSUN than my CC, but still, I'm wondering if maybe just going to another CSU would help alleviate my situation.

So, being that the budget crisis is killing chances left and right, it's unlikely, but does anyone know if it is at all possible to apply to another CSU for Fall 2011 with about 110 units & somehow get admitted? Yea, I know. I'm practically done with everything & have taken all GEs & some "electives," I guess you could call them. All I need to do are the rest of my major reqs & I'm done.

Pretty sure I'm stuck with CSUN, but hey, I'm still asking since you all seem to be the experts on this kind of stuff.

Thanks..appreciate responses.

By the way, I’d taken 86 units at my CC, so I’ll definitely be taking more than 120 at CSUN to graduate just to finish all my required courses. I also have to do the History/Government CSU requirement still, & the “upper division electives.” Just thought I’d mention this since some may wonder why I’d want to transfer with only 10 units left to complete. I really have more. Thanks…

CSU’s are accepting Spring transfers. You should look into this.
