Transfer from Georgia Tech to Harvard?

I'm a sophomore at Georgia Tech and want to transfer to an Ivy League. I always wanted to attend an Ivy but was unable due to financial constraints. I want to transfer to an Ivy now that I can make things work financially, so I wanted to see if anyone here is familiar with transferring from a pretty good school like Georgia Tech to an Ivy. I'm a business student and have a 3.95, which is probably around the top 5-10% for Georgia Tech (I can't find official numbers).

In summary, do these types of transfers happen? What would Harvard look for (GPA, extracurriculars, SAT)?

Thanks.

Among other things, they’re going to be looking for a compelling reason that you “want to transfer to an Ivy League.” The odds are against you, regardless, but you need a good reason beyond Harvard having more prestige than GT because it’s an Ivy.

You do realize that Harvard does not offer a degree in business. In fact, seven of the eight ivies do not offer a degree in business. The only one that does is the Wharton School at UPenn.

Yes, they happen, but the competition for one of those transfer slots is more intense than freshman applications. Recently Harvard received about 1,500 transfer applications and 12 students were admitted, for an acceptance rate of less than 1%. And as @ixnaybob said: <a href=“Transfer Applicants”>https://college.harvard.edu/admissions/application-process/transferring-harvard-college

As Harvard does not offer a degree in business, what clearly defined academic reason(s) can you provide Admissions to attend the college?
