Greetings. I am senior in high school and I got accepted to George Mason Univerity. I have decided to attend GMU, with a Biology major, next year. I would really appreciate if you could post your advice and suggestions as to what will be the best way to transfer from GMU to University of Virginia after 1 year. I am not planning on getting my associates degree from Mason.

The best bet would be to go to the UVa admissions website and take a look at what types of courses they are looking for in transfers and take those. Then maybe get involved in a couple of groups at GMU and finally get a 4.0 your first semester.

For transfering to UVA after one year, do they also look at your high school transcripts? like hight school GPA and SAT scores? or just the GPA in college ?

yes they do look at your high school transcript. HS grades matter more than SAT scores
