Transfer from my college's Science College to Engineering College

Hi, I am an ungrad freshman at my college, Penn State. I am currently enrolled in my college's Science College but want to go into the engineering college. Over the two semesters, I decided I want to be a bioengineer and I have been taken Bio-major classes.

Is it hard to transfer between two departments? Can anyone give me any tips or any advice? What would I have to do or look out for?

Yes, I know I should talk to my advisor, but its spring break and theres no school now! Just want to be prepared! Thanks!

‘my college’ lol, it’s very funny term. Internal transfer is way easier than external. If you have over 3.0 GPA, you have a great chance.
