Transfer from RISD to LAC

hey,
I am currently a Freshman at the Rhode Island School of Design and I was wondering if anyone out there could help me out.
When I was in high school I loved art, but I also loved academics. When my acceptance letters arrived I was having a tough time deciding between RISD and Carnegie Mellon, and i chose RISD.
However, now that I am here I am having second thoughts about whether or not I truly want to ONLY focus on art...
I really love academics as well as sports and the potential for socialization (greek life etc)

In high school i received 2 national french awards
a SAT score in the high 1900's
US history Ap-4
English Comp and Lit AP-4

Chinese SAT 2 with listening-670
Mathematics level 1- 690
US history-690

won 7 awards from the Scholastic art and writing competition
2 awards from Syracuse University's sponsored Shaped Clay awards

AP Scholar in 2007

a 3.0 and above average

ExtraCurr.
I worked at the National Gallery of Art and Corcoran Gallery of Art (regularly in high school)
Held one retail job this past summer
Reconstruction work in New Orleans
Student Government-yearbook and social chair(2 years)
Varsity Lacrosse

I am interested in a school that has a strong art or architecture program, so any advice/suggestions would be great!
I am currently interested in maybe UVA, Cornell, Brown?

Thanks!

Can't you cross enroll at Brown?

Since RISD's course load is very intensive and RISD and Brown have different marking systems, it is very difficult to cross enroll.
I just really want to go to a school where I can do both art and academics, and actually belong to that singular school.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
