Transfer from UC Berkeley to Harvard,Yale,Columbia

<p>I just finished my first year at berkeley and I did not enjoy it.
The classes are too big and it is really hard to get really actively involved because of its massive size. Also the scheduling did not work out and I was not able to get the classes i planned out at the beginning. I am thinking of transferring to other top schools (harvard,yale columbia) that could help me with my problems. So please chance me. </p>

<p>I currently am a political science major at berkeley.
my gpa at berkeley was 4.0
high school gpa was 3.8 (4.2 weighted)
ACT 34 SAT II: Chem 800 Bio 800 korean 800 (I was more interested in sciences back then)
biggest ec: interned at 4 different politician's offices, (state and federal)
7 year long internship at my city manager's office
Internship at the headquarter of a political party in korea
Volunteered at an Orphanage and a homeless shelter
Active with College Young Dems and Young Dems of America
Created a multi-religious club at berkeley focused on peace
Multilingual: Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, French</p>

<p>You’ve got a chance. Apply, see what happens. But if you don’t like UCB, I’d suggest applying to other schools as well (UCSD, UCLA, UCI). You never know if Harvard, Yale, or Columbia will accept you. </p>

<p>If berkeley was too big, why not look at top small LACs? Williams, swarthmore, amherst, middlebury etc</p>
