<p>I am currently a freshman at UCSD and am thinking about transferring to another UC or possibly a private school in LA. I have found that I came to UCSD for the wrong reasons, and realized that turning down UC Berkeley was probably a bad decision. So my question is this: What do I need to do to get out of UCSD? I have a few options that I have been looking into. I am thinking about finishing the year out and then transferring to a CSU...but I feel that I'd probably be jipping myself...I was the top student of my HS graduating class and worked my ass off for four years....or maybe I can transfer to a CC to finish up my GEs and then apply to a different UC or private at the end of my CC year....any thoughts? Perhaps there is an easier way?</p>
<p>Side note : Yes, I know UCSD is an excellent school...but it just isn't for me....I'm going to give it till the end of the quarter to see if anything changes but at this point I really really miss LA and do not feel any sort of excitement or connection to UCSD that is making me want to spend the next 4 years of my life here.</p>
