I transfered to UCSB as a junior fall 2014 to do the Econ/Accounting major but have decided that Econ is not for me. I like accounting but I hate Econ. There are no other majors that I want to do. Was wondering if I could transfer to Cal Poly Slo to do the Business Administration - concentration in accounting program? FYI I would still need to complete 3 of the premajor courses there unless my calc for social sciences would be accepted for the business calc requirement, in that case it’d be 2.
Is this possible? and how soon would I be able to transfer? Please help!
You should post in the Transfer Thread. The earliest you could transfer is Fall 2016.

I am confused because, it looks to me like UCSB offers accounting.

SLO doesn’t take a lot of transfers. They accept only Fall applicants and you’d be a junior in the fall of 2016 - meaning 2-3 years. (Acct has a higher unit count now) post transfer to get your BS in 2019. The link show you CalPoly stats.

Or, you could stay put, focus on the quantitative side of UCSBs Econ department - graduate in May 2017 - and get an MS in Accounting in the same time-frame.
I’d encourage you to stay put and find a path through UCSB. It is a very good school and delaying your graduation is very costly and unnecessary.
