Ok so I am currently taking classes at a CC to transfer into the Arizona State Aerospace Engineering program. My current cumulative GPA is 2.85 and should be in the 3's after next semester. I took some classes at a couple different CC's right out of high school in 04-06 and was not a good student by any stretch of the imagination. I had around a 2.0 gpa. Since I started taking classes again in 09 my gpa has been 3.4.

I'm looking to transfer to ASU for the fall 2013 semester and have a question about how my credit's will transfer and how my gpa will be determined. When transferring I will have around 130 credit hours of which only 64 can/will transfer. The ASU website states the admission requirement for the aerospace program is:

1) Minimum transfer GPA of 3.00 for more than 24 transfer hours, and
2) No high school math or science competency deficiencies (if Undergraduate Admissions requires submission of a high school transcript).

So I guess my question is...

Is my GPA for admission calculated as my cumulative GPA or just the GPA of the transfer courses (64 credit hours)?

Thanks!
