<p>How do schools calculate transfer gpa's? For example..</p>

<p>I am at a CC and have a 3.74 COLLEGE GPA. My CUMULATIVE, however, is a 3.5 because I didn't do so well in some remedial math courses. My question is, will college look at my cumulative, college, or will they create a new gpa judging by what credits they accept and use that to separate applicants?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure for most colleges, they look at everything as well as calculate a new GPA based on the specific courses that transfer</p>
