Transfer GPA

<p>Quick question: </p>

<p>I'm a transfer to Engineering Physics at U of I next Fall; will my community college GPA transfer over or will I start from scratch? I'm kinda hoping it will come along for the ride because I worked pretty hard to keep it at a 4.0 ... </p>

<p>I wasn't able to find any info on their website or via the first few pages of google, so if any knowledgeable person can answer me I would be eternally grateful. </p>

<p>For courses that transfer, community college grades count toward overall GPA. They will track in your DARS Audit (look it up at UIUC’s site) both your overall and UIUC GPA as you progress and to graduate you will need to meet both a minimum overall and minimum UIUC GPA.</p>
