transfer + grad school

Hey all,

I was wondering if transferring to another school would help if I plan on applying to that school's grad program later. For example, if I was to transfer to Columbia, would I have a better chance of being admitted into one of Columbia's grad schools?

Law school seems to recruit heavily from the undergrad college (Columbia Law is made up of 1/3 CC grads), but I was wondering if the same is true for other grad programs.

no, most probably not. i've heard of many cases where students get in from any university. they equally consider most of them. i don't think that should be your worrying factor, and instead just soar like heck with the numbers.

btw - if anyone can answer my post a couple ones down from this on UT (what grad schools don't require junior college transcripts) i'd totally appreciate it. thanks
