Transfer-haven't heard back yet

<p>My boyfriend applied as a transfer student to NCSU by the early application deadline of Feb. 1st. The only thing that changed was that around the end of March his application changed from pending to under review. He's a freshman now so I'm assuming that he hasn't heard back because they need his final semester grades, but it just seems like it's been a long time.</p>

<p>He applied to the college of Engineering and is worried because it's really competitive and his grades this semester haven't been all that great.</p>

<p>So does anyone know when he could expect to hear back/ can you give me more information on the college of Engineering and it's competitiveness?</p>

<p>I’d call the admissions office and ask. If you haven’t heard back by now, it’s probably best to confirm with them what the final decision on the application was.</p>
