I’m hoping to transfer into OSU in the fall of 2014. Right now i’m attending Columbus State Community College. My intended major is radiology. I’m worried that since I only have 20+ credit hours they’ll look at SAT and ACT’s as well as high school grades.
-My High School GPA was around 3.3-3.4 I think. Current College G.P.A.- 3.4-3.5 but might go up or down SAT-1540 and ACT-22
-Bunch of E.C. was in Key Club, Forensic Science Club, Medical Club, Marching Band, Art Club.
I am also in that Preferred Pathway Scholars Program, but i’m not sure if that counts for anything.
-I also immigrated few years ago, but a U.S. citizen now, maybe that’ll be a boost?

Also if anyone else transferring or transferred from CSCC to OSU in a year, what are your stats?
Any help would be super nice and I’ll help back. :)

any chances or feedback would be beneficial, I really need to make a decision soon. Anything would be helpful.

I don’t know if I can be of any help, but I’m transfering from in-state as well from a different community college. However, I’ve been in my CC for almost three semesters now. I will still be there next spring and will have 40+ credits done by the time I transfer. So I’m in a bit of a different boat as they will not be looking at my highschool records whatsoever. But, honestly, I think you’ll be fine They’re not too selective, although they are more selective than I though.

Just a quick question…when you applied did you have to write an essay or anything for the transfer application? I just had to fill out the online app and then submit my college transcript. I’m worried that I might’ve missed something since most colleges require essays, but it doesn’t say so on the app checklist…

I did the online app and for me it was as an option. I did it anyway just to make mine look stronger. Good luck to you :)
