I did not get into the UC's I applied for nor did I get into my top choice USC. I want to transfer to either USC UCLA or UCD after two years; however, I don't know which route is best! I could go to a CC and make a tag with Davis, or if they have a tag with UCLA, make a tag there (Does UCLA have a tag) or since I am in the ELC top 9% program, go to whichever UC I am placed in! Which is the best route in your opinions! And is a tag guranteed acceptance? Or just the best route to take?? Also if you know which UC the elc program most likely would put in could you please comment on which UC you think it might be

Moved your thread here due to the inclusion of USC. For UC specific questions, post on the UC Transfer subforum.

I believe the ELC program is for qualified high school applicants. I don’t believe there is anything in place for community college students. You wont be able to sign a TAG agreement with UCLA, Berkeley and I believe UCSD is doing away with theirs as well. UCLA does have a TAP program ( transfer assistance program) which doesn’t guarantee you a spot, but highly increases your chances. If you were to sign a TAG with Davis and met the requirements of the agreement, then yes, guaranteed acceptance. (T)ransfer (A)emission (G)uarantee.

Yeah, I’m already in the ELC program, I’m a senior in high school, I just wanted to know which path would be best suited for me to transfer
