Transfer help?!

I will add one more suggestion to look at Brooklyn. One of the most talented guys my daughter ever worked is going there as it was only school to make it work. The point being that lots of talented kids are at all sorts of different schools that are a fit in a variety of criteria. i dont know a ton about school but course offerings looked legitimate and staffing good faculty is easier in NYC than most places

austin, I will have to check it out. I have some family from that part of Texas and am really happy to hear what I still think of Southwest Texas having a great program!!! I know a kid at Denton too who is also thriving. Are you in Austin BTW??? Has it gobbled up San Marcos yet? I was in Austin last year and could not believe how developed it was down to Kyle. Wow… I remember when 35 was San Antonio, countryside, New Braunfels, countryside, San Marcos, country side, and Onion Creek(or whatever it’s called) was South Austin… Lots of growth.

Thank you for all the great suggestions. Yes, I will likely have to do another 4 years of college but I really don’t mind. And I’m looking for schools that are as affordable as where I currently attend and less, the tuition where I am currently is around 28,204. I am aware that scholarships will not be easy either but I am very determined because this is my passion.

I will certainly look into Texas State and I have already began to look into Brooklyn College, I see wonderful things about it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

You might take a look at Coastal Carolina. With the performing arts scholarships, the total COA there would be around $28,500. And they do sometimes accept transfers into the BFA program as sophomores. If you are interested in study abroad opportunities, CCU offers the semester at the Accademia Dell’Arte in Tuscany. My D’s friends who have gone there rave about the opportunity.
