I live in Connecticut, but I attend University of New Hampshire
I would be transferring into my sophomore year.
Current College GPA: 3.58
My Sat scores are 1650, and ACT score of 26.
High School GPA: 3.1 (with a tremendous upward curve since sophomore year)
**Lots of AP courses with 3/4’s on all the test.
*Business Major (Management Information Systems), and would apply into the Business school.
*College Recommendation Letter was strong as well as my essay.
I was just accepted with a 3.8 College G.P.A after one semester, a 2.8 high school G.P.A, and a 1800 on the SATS. I had no recommendation letter and an average essay. Other people I know who have transferred into UCONN did so with a 3.4 G.P.A so in my opinion you should be confident with a 3.58
Im going into Political Science and it took about two weeks for them to respond, I’ve heard UCONN taking anywhere from a week to up to a couple months to respond so I agree with SaintSaens in theres no knowing when you’ll hear back
I applied less than a week ago and I’ve been notified that “information is pending, check back in 24 hours” so I assume my decision is going to be made by tomorrow. I think you’ll be able to get in just fine!
I have a 3.76 college GPA, totally don’t know what my high school GPA was and my SAT was 1530 and my ACT wasn’t any better. Miraculously, I got in! So yeah, I think you’ll get in.
