I’m currently attending a CUNY and would like to transfer to Stony Brook. I know that I should have at least 24 credits and a 3.0 gpa, however, as of now I have 15 credits (I will have 33 by the end of the spring semester) and I’m worried that my first semester grades and high school transcript/scores wouldn’t suffice (I’m just meeting the credentials). Is there any way I can also send in my spring semester grades for consideration when the semester ends?
Hello! Without having your transcripts and grades available to review, it is difficult to offer too much information. We will request spring grades if it is determined that you do not meet the criteria for admission without seeing your spring grades. You can also call and speak to an admissions counselor Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST at 631-632-6868 to discuss your situation.
