transfer help

Hey, I just wanted to check my chances out for transferring into some of these schools, for majoring in finance or business;

My stats are: University of Florida Honors Program, GPA 3.72, Honors Program, SAT 2: 1480/1600, SAT 1: 1260/1600, Im an international student, so my verbal score isn't as high as I would wish it to be. I have strong recommendations as well.

NYU - Stern
Texas Austin - Mccombs
Penn - Wharton
Virginia - Mcintire
Georgetown - Mcdonough
Indiana - Kelley
Emory - the business school (can't remember the spelling)

any other good business schools you would recommend based on my scores??

you have a good GPA coming from UF honors... how did you get into UF honors with the low SAT?

His sats aren't that low; they are actually decent, and esp. for UF.

ict141, where do you want to go the most?

a 1260? i thought a 1400+ was needed for UF honors

actually, the thing is my high school IB scores were really high and the fact that I am in international student helps me because in my case they don't take into consider the critical reading part of the SAT. A SAT score of 1400 is optimal for the honors program, but there have been instances where people with lower scores have gotten in but in general 1400+ was admitted. I want to go to Upenn most, but that really doesn't seem to be possible, but I would love NYU, Georgetown, Emory or Texas Austin.

My friends with 1380 and 1390 were rejected from the Honors program. I live in the building now, and there isn't a flood of international students, the 1400 SAT score stands.

I wont chance you for Wharton because thats too unpredictable.

I think you are in at Georgetown and Emory.

i live in the tolbert area, most international kids do.
