<p>Hey, I am currently a junior who transferred from Nazareth College(Rochester) to CUNY Lehman College this semester for financial reasons. Lehman is not a very good school and I was wondering if it was worth it to transfer to a better CUNY (Baruch Hunter) due to the fact that I am going to be a senior soon. Or is it just a lateral move? helpp</p>
<p>Do the CUNYs insist that a certain number of credits be from their own university in order to grant a degree? If so, you’d need to find out. Some schools will insist that XX number of upper division credits must be from THEIR university. Check out Hunter’s website and any other CUNYs website that you’re considering.</p>
<p>If the credits issue won’t be a problem, then transfer if you like. I don’t think all the CUNY’s are on an equal tier, some are better than others.</p>
<p>Would you be going to the new CUNY for just one year?</p>
<p>Yes, I only have about 27-30 credits left to do depending on if I would need more credits from that particular CUNY.</p>
