<p>Hello, I am a sophomore at a community college, and I am going to transfer, my junior year, to a four year university Fall of 2014. I am hoping to major in elementary education and minor in creative writing.
I was wondering if there are any schools in IL that offer residence halls for transfer students specifically. Since I am going to be a junior, I don't want to be in dorms with freshman etc. Ideally, I would like to be living in a hall with all transfer students, so we will all be upperclassman and all starting at a new school as transfer students.
If anyone can offer me any information on what schools have transfer dorms, in IL for education majors, then it would be greatly appreciated.</p>
<p>Nearly all of the Illinois state schools have housing specifically for transfer students. If you’re referring to UIC, they definitely do.</p>
<p>And all of the schools will have this information on their websites. Just go to either the transfer sections, or the housing sections.</p>
