<p>I just received the e-mail that offers me Campus Village</p>
<p>I know it's cheaper and closer to the campus but I was hoping that I could live in AV :(</p>
<p>I think the transfer house in AV might help me a lot...</p>
<p>Anyone wants to share what offer you get?</p>
<p>I just got my housing offer for Campus Village too. I was also hoping for Arroyo Vista. I never applied for Campus Village. I thought we had the option of applying for it but I didn’t. I guess they didn’t have enough room in AV.</p>
<p>I called them to see if this was the only offer we will get and they said yes. We could try to get onto the Arroyo Vista waiting list but that means our housing guarantee will be waived.</p>
<p>Well, as long as we get housing right? Not much we can do about it. I’ve been hearing that AV is more social than CV but seeing as CV is right in the middle of campus, it can’t be that bad… or can it lol? I liked AV cause there were so many people on one floor. CV only has 4… Anyone have more details on CV?</p>

<p>Not too big on being social when it comes to College, gotta make sure i nail my classes without distraction, so i can get into a good PHD program</p>
<p>Do you guys getting in CV all have your roommates decided?</p>
<p>I hope UCI can hold an event where we could meet new transfers and choose our roommates upon it… (Do they have such an event?)</p>
<p>Well, they seemed to have put me into resident halls. </p>
<p>It also looks like they sent me the same personal information form that they give out to the freshmen. What seems a bit odd is that it asks for preferences of which hall I would want to go to and what possible themed area I would want. I thought the transfers were put into a transfer specific hall?</p>
<p>Any other transfers going into the resident halls? I’m starting to feel like opting in for the resident halls was a bad idea.</p>
<p>I hope my room mates are nice.</p>
<p>My friend and I both got into the Engineering Design House for AV. I was kind of surprised since i felt it would be a lot tougher since we got that email saying they had a larger than normal applicant pool for transfer housing. Im pretty excited though since thats the house I did want. The only downside is that its the farthest house I believe from teh campus besides the students living in VDC.</p>
<p>I got into the International Peace and Conflict Studies house in AV. I’m pretty excited. I think I’ll be sharing a house with 11 other people.</p>
