Hi,
I know that space is limited and that there wont be too many transfer students, but what are housing options for transfers transferring for Fall of their junior year? I would love apartment style housing - but what are the chances of getting that as a transfer? Thanks!

Not sure how it works for transfers but generally Tufts doesn’t guarantee housing after sophomore year.

Wow. Does anyone know what the apartment style housing is like at all?

Many colleges don’t guarantee housing beyond sophomore year, but that doesn’t mean that housing is not available. It would be interesting to know what percentage of students who apply for on-campus housing don’t get it. I bet it is a small amount.
My son’s college also does not guarantee housing beyond sophomore year, but the two years he has been there for the housing lottery, there are some spaces leftover. Lots of kids move off campus into frat houses, sorority houses, or off-campus apartments.
To answer specific questions about transfer students you should contact the Office of Residential Housing [Tufts University - Residential Life](Residential Life & Learning | AS&E Students)
