<p>Do transfer students typically live together or are we basically put wherever they can fit us? Do most transfers room with other transfers, freshmen, or upper classmen?</p>

<p>I think they put most of the transfer students in the YMCA dorms, though it’s possible not all of them are there. The Y dorms are mostly transfer students and some upperclassmen, and usually not freshmen. The rooms there are single rooms. Some have their own bathrooms, some share with another room, and some have bathrooms per hall. The floors are also separated by gender (ie, a girls’ floor, a guys’ floor). The Y is sometimes given a bad rep, but it’s really not bad; I know some people who have lived there and one who will be there this fall. It’s also really centrally located on campus, which is nice.
Though if it turns out that they put you somewhere besides the Y, then most of that information is irrelevant.</p>
