<p>has anyone had success getting into dorms or university apartments through the lottery system?</p>
<p>i ask this because i might be transferring there and i want to live on campus for a year, to meet new people and such. plus it would make the move easier, having a place and furniture all ready</p>
<p>demand for housing is quite big this year... the waiting list for the university owned apartments is long, not sure about the dorms, i don't think it's as long, not sure if everyone gets a place though...</p>
<p>i know this thread is oldish...but I really wanna go to SB, but without the guarantee of on campus housing for transfers, I'm not sure if I'll go there..</p>
<p>There's no guarantee, but there's a good chance of getting one of the UC appartments as a transfer (I got one after being put on waitlist, but didn't take it).</p>
<p>Anyone know about the transfer dorms? Is it hard to get? Is there spaces for parking? Thanks!</p>
