<p>have any transfer students received their housing assignments (if you applied)?</p>

<p>i logged on to check my application, but the options that used to be there (including the tab on the top that said application) have disappeared...i thought that this meant that i may have been given an assignment, though i cant find it anywhere and have not received an email.</p>

<p>anyone? anyone else notice the change on the housing site after you log in?</p>

<p>I just logged on to housing and now the Rooms section is available. I clicked on it and it says: "You are not assigned to a room for this term. You can search for one using the options on the left." However, I don't see any options to select a room.</p>

<p>Does this mean that I will not get housing? I too have received no emails about a possible assignment.</p>

<p>it came back up for me, and i have the exact same response that you do. that note that says “you can search for a room using the tools on the left” or whatever isn’t a very helpful one, seeing as i really can’t do anything...</p>

<p>but there is something that allows us to put money down...what if we just put down a deposit? would they have to give us a room? or would they say “we have no space” and take our money?</p>

<p>it’s already hard enough convincing my parents to let me go...they really won’t be thrilled about me not having housing. and just think: tons of sophomore transfers haven’t even been admitted yet.</p>

<p>bobihaveaquestion: Sometimes it happens to me too. Usually, the "application" link will show up again if you click on "Home." </p>

<p>As for housing, i have not heard from them either. It makes me very nervous.</p>

<p>the site says they send out transfer housing assignments in mid-july... but we're not guaranteed anything. i think they're starting to assign rooms, but i wouldn't expect to hear anything for a while.</p>

<p>I just found out my housing.. Sierra in a 2 bedroom sharing with 3 other people. Is there anyone I can be put on a waitlist or something</p>

<p>I just checked my housing and they posted my assignment! I am in a triple in Troy Hall East. I pretty happy with this assignment. I just can't wait to move in.</p>

<p>YOU LUCKY @$%^%$!!!!!! hahaha im so jealous of u right now. When did you apply for housing?? I sent mines in 5/25 so that might be while I didnt get my first 3 choices.</p>

<p>Yeah, Troy Hall East is one of the best apartment choices. Rent should be really cheap too because you have a triple.</p>

<p>aznhyboi87, I sent my app in on 5/11, so that may be why I got Troy Hall East. And yeah, the rent is one of the cheapest at only $470/mo.</p>

<p>But I wonder why we are able to see our assignments so early. Their website says that we will find out late July, so we are seeing ours more than a month early.</p>

<p>I still haven't received an email notifying me of my assignment, so I don't know, maybe I'm not supposed to see it already. Is this maybe not final yet?</p>

<p>I sent my housing app in on 5/25. I was accepted into USC marshall on 5/01 though. It was my fault for debating so long between berkeley or USC but I'm glad I made the right choice and joined the trojan network!!!</p>

<p>I'm pretty sure It's final because if you click on deposit, it asks for a credit card and $400 deposit</p>

<p>ugh, i'm in pacific. anyone know what the chances of being "reassigned" to a better room are?</p>

<p>Well, it's for real. I received my notification email today, and promptly paid the $400 deposit. I hope to see you all at SC in two months.</p>
